Our realization, stemming from our own experiences as filmmakers in the Netherlands, was disheartening- there is an alarming absence of multicultural perspectives within the industry. To address this, we embarked on the journey of establishing the NPA Fellowship. This initiative aims to provide aspiring producers from underrepresented communities with a gateway to opportunity.

The essence of authentic stories is born off screen, which is why we must extend our productions to those who shape the very same stories we are trying to tell. By opening the doors for emerging producers striving for genuine representation and diversity in their content we simultaneously pave the way for directors, writers, cinematographers, and other talented individuals from those same communities. We refuse to let these stories remain neglected any longer. Instead, we raise our voices and take meaningful steps towards building a more representative and inclusive film industry.
